El programa es para las personas que quieren obtener su licencia del estado en cosmetologia o barberia. Este es un programa de 2 años donde puede trabajar y estudiar al mismo tiempo.
La primera etapa seria tomar los cursos de Corte (O Barberia) y Tinte. Cada Curso tiene 30 clases, puede encontrar los horarios en "Cursos Avanzados". La segunda etapa es que el estudiante entre a las clases requeridas del estado de Pre-Aprendizaje. En esta etapa pueden empezar a buscar un salon donde quieran trabajar. Al terminar las 39 horas de Pre-Aprendizaje, se mete una aplicacion al estado para obtener una pre-licencia. La tercera etapa es empezar las clases de teroia del estado una vez a la semana en nuestra institucion, y empezar a trabajar en el salon de su eleccion. El estudiante tiene que acompletar 260 horas de teoria en clase, y 3,200 horas de entrenamiento en el trabajo durante los 2 años del programa.
Al final del programa, los estudiantes deben de haber terminado sus horas de salon y de instruccion. En ese entonces, estaran listos para tomar el examen de el estado y obtener su licencia de cosmetologia o barberia si pasan con un grado minimo de 75%.
Our program is for clients interested in getting their state license in cosmetology or barbering. This is a 2-year program where they can work and study at the same time.
The first stage would be to take the Hair Cut (Or Barber) and Hair Dye courses. Each Course has 30 classes, you can find the schedules in the "Advanced Courses" section. The second stage is for the student to enter the required Pre-Apprenticeship classes. At this stage they can start looking for a salon where they want to work. At the end of the 39 hours of Pre-Apprenticeship, an application is filed with the state for them to obtain a pre-license. The third stage is to start the state theory classes once a week at our institution, and start working in the salon of your choice. The student has to complete 260 hours of theory in class, and 3,200 hours of on-the-job training during the 2 years of the program.
At the end of the program, students must have completed their salon and theory hours. At that time, they will be ready to take the state exam and obtain their cosmetology or barber license if they pass with a minimum grade of 75%.
